History
ANMAP (Association of New Mexico Activity Professionals) was organized in August of 1989.
It was formed to:
Encourage, increase
knowledge, provide means for growth and recognition of Activity Professionals.
Provide access to other professionals for ideas and networking.
Provide information about Legislative updates.
The members meet once a year at the Annual Conference and quarterly in their established
districts. ANMAP sponsors an Annual Conference. The Board of Directors for the association meet at least four times a
year.
The association is divided up into 5 districts. Districts
fall under the umbrella of ANMAP and meet quarterly earning continuing education hours. Activity Professinals are
also able to network with one another which is an added benefit.
ANMAP
State Conferences have been held annually since 1991 and are usually held in the spring.
